Craft/Activity: Manner Activity, Numbers and Colors in Sanskrit
Comments: Parents, we've gotta commend that everyone did so well in the class today . We started our class with the Om Sahana vavatu. Then Meera Aunty sang a beautiful bhajan on Lord Krishna. Kids really calmed down after the wonderful bhajan and they were ready for some learning and fun. Shaina Aunty introduced the kids to Karaagre Vasathe Lakshmi. Later we had a discussion on how important our hands are and the significance of Karaagre Vasathe. Kids were having a hard time choosing between a scary or funny story and Nanda Aunty told the story of "The Bull Called Delightful" which was scary and funny. Afterwards kids had a discussion with Nanda Aunty about manners. Mamatha Aunty had a quiz on the story just to see how many were listening, and she was happy to see all the raised hands. Kids reviewed Numbers and Colors in Sanskrit with Nanda Aunty. Then we did some stretching exercises with Meera Aunty. We ended our class with Om Jaya Jagathish Hare and Poornamadah. We're really looking forward to a fun year of learning with your child. Hope everyone has a great week !!!
