Comments:

• It was nice to see everyone in the class today. After the initial prayers, we had several volunteers coming up to recite Shokas, way to go kiddos. We learnt a new Shloka Shubham Karothi Kalyanam. This Shloka is recited when we light the lamp, we offer our prayers to Deepajyothi, which brings us good health, prosperity and bestow us with gods blessings. This explanation led to Roma asking us what is blessings? We had interesting discussion about blessings following that, Parents you can continue this discussion with your child. We learnt the first shloka of Geetha Chapter 11.

• Kids remembered all the Yoga poses they have learnt so far. We learnt another pose today "Mouse Pose". Mouse is vehicle of Lord Ganesha, everyone had fun being the ride for Lord Ganesha.

• We told the Story of "Krishna Photocopies of Himself". Kids learnt that Krishna could be anyone, he could be their teacher, their parents or .... Children had fun seeing Krishna. Parents they will explain how they were able to see Krishna ;-)

• We did a wonderful craft of Diwali Cards, they had fun coloring and gluing glitter to their cards.

• Thanks to Sanwitha for the snacks, we finished our class with Poornamdha. Aarthi and Pledge was at auditorium today. See you all next week.

Reminders:

• Keep practising the Geeta at home.
• Parents on the day when Swamiji gives Pravachan, please do pick up kids from the class and then go to Auditorium for Aarthi and Pledge.
• If any of the parents are interested in volunteering for Pre K class, Please let us know.
• We would really appreciate donation of much needed supplies such as crayons, gluesticks, markers etc...
