Today we had meeting with Swamiji at the ashram, and Swamiji was very happy to hear about all the activities of kids. When we came to the class, it was a pleasant surprise to see all the desk arranged, a very special thanks to parents for setting up the class. We were so happy to see all the kids, it was a long 2 weeks break. Everyone was in festive mood, and it was wonderful to hear all the celebrations kids had for the festival. We started off with Shanthi Mantra, Children then chanted Vakrathunda Mahakaya and Karagre Vasathi and Saraswathi Namastubhyam. Kids did a little play about Ramayan, and as Rama and Sita came back to Ayodhya we lighted some tealights, it was fun way of learning all about the Deepawali. Children did some Yoga, they learnt a new posture Candle pose. We had a wonderful craft of lantern, kids had fun sticking all the glittery stars to make their lanterns pretty. We did Geetha Chapter 11, first line of first shloka today. Please do practice it at home too. We finished off with our Poornamadha. See you all next week!!!
