Comments:
- We did all our beginning prayers - we had 4-5 volunteers come up to the head of the class for all the earlier shlokas.
- We had a visitor today - another Mamatha Aunty and we did Great God Ganapathy and My God is so great with her. They are picking up the second Bhajan also very well.
- We then had an impromptu quiz to review the Ramayana story from last class.
- When Jeevan Uncle asked them if they knew about the bridge that Rama built across the ocean, some of them answered, "I helped Rama"!! They remembered their roles from acting out the story in last class!
- We did the story of how the squirrel helped with building the bridge and discussed how each one could help in their own little way. We talked a little bit about 'Seva' - how it meant to help someone without expecting anything in return.
- They had fun coloring Hanuman's Gadha.
- We then quickly reviewed the story of how Ganesha got his elephant head and the story of the contest between Ganesha and Karthikeya so that they could enjoy and appreciate the program in the auditorium later on.
